Here are a few ideas on how to include Super Kids Food into your children’s meals:

1.  As it is stable to 38 degrees celsius, you can add this to a cooked and cooled meal just prior to serving. It mixes well in spaghetti, risotto, mashed potato, mashed sweet potato and pumpkin and even over a pizza after it is cooked.

2. Given that most kids will enjoy sweet tastes over sour, salty or bitter, it is often a good place to start with.  Try mixing it into some of your children’s favourite yoghurt, custard or mashed stewed fruit.  The powder blends very well into stewed apple.

3.  My patients love to eat cakes – and even though I don’t encourage it, a home made cake with organic and whole grain ingredients are much better than white flour and sugar laden cakes.  Try adding Super Kids Foods to an icing made from Philadelphia Cream Cheese or Toffuti (soy alternative) and add a small amount of stevia powder or organic icing sugar and mix through. If you need to add some colouring – a drop of beetroot juice will bring out a beautiful pink colour, and a drop of carrot juice will add a bright and cheery orange/yellow.
